Facebook Becomes ‘Top Time Waster’ in Pakistani Offices

These days, Twitter, online video games and popular video search engine Youtube are among the top office time wasters, noted Daily Times.

We all knew it; however, the statement seems more valid after Daily Time’s this survey that concludes:

Pakistani office going community loves the Facebook, the most, out of all other tim wasting activities.

http://propakistani.pk/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/armyfacebook_thumb.jpgThe previous office time waster king was the MSN, Yahoo Messengers but over the years web applications have been developed that diverted the Internet traffic from these messengers.
But even the bosses know that blocking these web sites would create frustration among the employees as they get a chance to refresh themselves just by checking their account on Facebook for a few minutes.
You may consider blocking Facebook, if you are boss and if you feel like a lot of amusement going around with less work in your office.
Interestingly, the people contacted for comments, wished not to be named as it could affect the repute of their organizations and they would be termed as “less professional”.

Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 1 Released

Mozilla is a typical open source software developing organization; they keep their heads down and work hard on bringing out great new things for their users without any fuss, and of course free! The company behind world’s fastest growing and currently the second most used internet browser, the Mozilla Firefox just released the latest Beta of their infamous browser for Mac Users. The Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 1 for Mac OS X is built on top of the company’s new Gecko 2.0 layout engine.

The Beta 1, weighing in at 20.2MB introduces the crash protection feature for users to continue their browsing sessions in case there is a crash in the Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime or Microsoft Silverlight plugins for Firefox. The Beta also introduces a new Add-ons manager along with several other features such as WebSockets support, a new HTML 5 parser, a Web Console analysis tool, native support for the HD HTML5 WebM video format. Firefox 4.0 Beta also brings with it fast page rendering thanks to the lazy frame construction.
The Beta version also brings scores of visual changes to please the eye candy of the Mac users, with stop and reload buttons unified into a single one, bookmarks bar being entirely replaced by bookmarks button and placing tabs at the very top of the browser window in a newly designed UI theme. The Mozilla team is working hard to bring the Mac theme to Firefox which will give users the ability to put tab bars on top in OSX.
The Beta 1 is a great upgrade which brings the needed features to Firefox for Mac users. Going further into the beta, Mozilla promises to bring more improvements such as advanced privacy controls, hardware graphics acceleration, JavaScript performance optimizations, and the ability to synchronize settings, passwords, bookmarks, history, open tabs and other customizations across multiple devices at the same time.

Microsoft Launches Internet Explorer 9 Beta

19366695
In most cases, IE 9 is the short version of Windows Internet Explorer 9 and all the benefits that come with it. It is specifically geared to work with the Microsoft suite. The different versions of IE 9 have gone onto the market and they are busy making waves in terms of the quality of output that they bring to the table. It has the advantage that it can support CSS3 selectors. It also can work with the CSS 3 radial properties. Those that want to use the JavaScript system will be able to work with IE 9 barring any serious problems.
There are embedded ICC V2 and V4 profiles. This will be part of the Windows Colour System that has been so successful. The Internet Explorer 9 has some accelerated graphics and this is partly due to the work that has been done on the direct 2D system. The text has been accelerated with the help of the Direct Write system. Video rendering is also possible and that has come about as a result of the implementation of the Media Foundation systems.

The IE 9 Beta Versions
The IE 9 Beta versions will progress to the Windows Imaging Components. The XPS print pipeline is also powering the system for clear results. In other words the IE 9 Beta versions can also support the HTML 5 video or even audio tags. The Web Open Font is the most suitable for the work that they are doing but it is really up to the user to select the formats that are going to be used at the time. Of course the anticipation has created some speculation about the IE 9 Beta versions. Some people say that it is likely to be very different from the other provisions that have been put out on the market.

The IE 9 Beta Downloads Requirements
There are specific system requirements that will need to be addressed as part of the process of getting to grips with the IE 9 beta download.  The user should aim to have at least Windows 7 or even higher. The Windows Vista SP2 has been effective especially with the platform update. There are problems with the support for the Windows XP versions. There are feature suggestions that rely on the ability of the system to cope with the failures that might have happened in the earlier versions of the software. It is all about ensuring that there is a rational basis for all the work that is being invested in the system.
The key turning point for the IE 9 beta download will be the ability for users to make it compatible with the other versions that may already be in place. The system works by combining the different elements and it will be nearly impossible to get rid of the requirements to ensure that the elements are well protected. That is the beginning of the work and it will ensure that there is proper management of the program from the perspective of embedding with the other suite versions.
